Hi folks! April is almost over and I have decided that May will be a month of new challenge. I WON'T BUY a single thing. Fashion related of course, it does not mean that I will be starving or something. Please wish me luck as the shops are really tempting. The main reason why I am going to do this is closely related to today's topic. It is like 2 days ago that I got home with two pairs of new shoes. Ok, one pair was from my husband and the 2nd one was more than needed as I have a skirt which I could not wear. (No matching shoes were in my closet.)
Let's get to the wardrobe rehab and let me share few words regarding how and why I am doing what I am doing. In the beggining of each spring and autumn I do a little clean up of my closet.

In the first phase I check all of my basic Tees, pullovers and jeans. I am looking only for pieces that no longer serve as they should. All T-shirts and shirts that does not look good are going out. In the second phase I am looking for things that I no longer wear, because they do not fit or flatter and these clothes have to leave my closet. 3rd phase is to remove all things that are prehistoric and I did not wear them for more than a year.
When all the things that are no longer needed are on one big pile in front of me, I tend to make 2 piles out of it. Just to have it easier. LOL. The first one is called DONATE and goes away for free (does not matter if to your friend or younger sister or someone in need) and the second one is called SELL. There are tons of FB groups where you can sell your old clothes or you can join a bazaar sell like the Blogger Bazaar I have been to. It is more interactive and therefore more fun.

You won't make fortune, but you can make enough to buy all you need. I usually make a list of all things that I need and I try hard to buy meaningful pieces. (Which is not as easy as one could think.)
I hope this can help you to understand your wardrobe better and think just a tiny bit more eco-friendly.
Btw the turban I am wearing is from the Blogger Bazaar as well.
Who is in for the next Bazaar?
